I was born in Powell, Wyoming in 1958 and graduated from Cowley High School in Cowley, Wyoming in 1976. After high school, I obtained my builder’s license and operated my own construction company, focusing on residential and light commercial projects until 2008. I decided to further my education in 2008 and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Walsh College of Business and Accountancy in Troy, Michigan in 2011, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in business management.
Following my graduation, I worked at Bebout, Potere & Cox P.C. as a legal assistant and office manager while attending Western Michigan University Cooley Law School at night in Auburn Hills, Michigan. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2015 with a Juris Doctor degree, ranking 13th out of 265 students in my class. During my time in law school, I was actively involved in the Family Law Assistance Project for two terms, representing low-income clients in court on family law issues. I also successfully participated in mock trial and moot court competitions.
In 2015, I was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and joined Bebout, Potere & Cox P.C. as a shareholder and partner the same year. I practice in the areas of Family Law, Divorce, and Estate Planning.
